2010 Wish List and Then Some

Wishes for 2010

  1. Becoming friends with my content management system.  It's supposed to be really easy making me think I have a case of SSO (System Smarter than Operator).
  2. Finding a really good detangler.
  3. Being able to use the bathroom for more than 90 seconds without little hands knocking or sliding under the door.
  4. Getting to the gym and every other placwe on time or earlier than I usually do.
  5. Sitting down and watching a movie  without falling asleep (on the hubby's list also)

I could really go on and on but these will do for now.  My ongoing wishes will always be to please the Father, grow and prosper as a wife and mommy.  I hope the new year brings Rush Hour Mama's good  cheer and much love.

What Successful Women Want in a Man

Ladies, our successes in our work life may just be hurting our love life. There was once a time when a woman wanted a man who could hold down a job, pay his bills on time and love us unconditionally. Those characteristics were enough. Today, however, the more successful women become, the higher the expectation.

Superwoman: Balancing Work and Life

If there is one thing that women do well, it is the balancing act called life. Women today are more than caregivers and housewives. Women own businesses, run companies and manage to keep dinner on the table at the same time each night. The secret to being successful in every part of life is managing that work / life balance.

Work, while important for the financial stability of the family needs to be clearly separated from life. Life is the joy, fun and carefree time that helps our body to revitalize and renew itself for the stresses of our “day job”. When a woman forgets to care for herself and blends life with work, there will be no happy ending.
